Quick Tire Question

I searched the net, and even asked a speed shop that sells em, but nobody can seem to answer my question.

I have a set of aftermarket Z06 wheels, 18x9.5, and I would like to purchase some Nitto 555R drag radials for the rear, which are 305/35/18, and I just want to know if they would fit without any clearance problems on my 97 Z28 Vert! Thanks guys.

bump stop will need to be removed. and the inner fender wells MAY need some "clearancing" with a BFH. BFH = big fu(king hammer :) shouldn't be too big of a problem, you'll find out real quick though :)

I had genuine Z06 rims on mine. The rears were 10.5 and the wheel wells got some rubbing. cars not lowred either and when ever you would hit a halfway decent bump the the tires rubbed. Neadless to say i ditched them but i loved them!

Hey, I found some good priced 285/35ZR18's, Will these require the same treatment?

305 seems a little wide for a 9.5" rim width?
