Want to run gas

I want to run a natural gas heater in my garage but my question is what do you run in the ground to supply the gas black pipe?And how deep should it be in the ground??

I think it needs to be 18 inches deep and there is a special hose intended to be used underground (saves you the hassel of pipes).

Also, I think you might need to get a permit to dig such a trench and you should also have it inspected after you install it and before you turn it on (insurnace purposes).

just call WE energies they will tell ya what the frost depth is

in some cases if the usage will be high enough WEenergies will send someone out to put in the line and give you a good price because they know if they do you will be using more gas.
