Yellow Wagon Photography

I am opening it up to people for me to shoot their vehicle(s) come spring/summer. I have about 4 shoots confirmed already so it appears that people want nice shots of their cars. Every shoot is different and I have some nice locations scouted to use as backgrounds for cars. I am not looking to mak a fortune here but I can't do these for free. I am VERY particular about my photos and how they look so I have literally hours invested each time I shoot a car.

Here is what you will get:
a CD with about 25 high res TIFFs for you to use for whatever you want...these are ideal for enlargements say 12X18". I have a few websites that I use to have enlargements made and can recommend those to you should you want to do that. I can also save low res JPGs on that CD for you also for a minimal fee if you want them for posting on web boards etc. Basically I will give you everything I shoot. I retains copies of the images however to use in my portfolio etc but I will not display any images that show license plate #'s etc. I am very careful about that stuff.

I am very professional in how I go about this but ultimately this is a fun opportunity for you all to have nice photos taken of your car/cars. I am looking for suggestions etc also of other shoots...like maybe 2 Mustangs or a truck pulling a trailer with a drag car on the trailer etc. I am open to suggestion. I shoot anything: import, domestic, vintage muscle, bikes...you name it.

If you are interested, please PM me on here and we can work out details. Multiple cars will cost a bit more cuz it is harder to shoot 2 cars but we can work out all these details.

I look forward to shooting a lot this spring/summer and hope a lot of you guys take me up on this offer. Its the cheapest way for you to get really nice photos of your car!

Hey Jason,

I might be interested on getting some shots of my bike done. I dont think I will be able to do it myself seeing I doubt I can carry my tripod with me. But I was thinking of a night shot of the bike at this location.

Here is an example of the type of shot I can take for you....If you requested JPGs fr you to use on webforums, I would ask that you allow me to put my logo on the shots like what you see here just to spread the word. It could be really small in the corner.

The High Res shots won't have any sort of watermark, just the image.

scott, yes you could put your bike down where I shot those photos. A night shot would be cool I think as long as we can get some light on your bike. I am willing to try it. Could turn out really neat! Great idea.

Alright. I will Call you when I have the bike up and going for the season.

Tonight I am going to spend some money. I'm picking up motor oil, oil filter, Intake, ECM, and exhaust. Once I am done with that I have to take my bike in for tuning and a new rear tire. It will probally be some time in Mid april early May.

Think after a while you could have a small photo shoot with a person (like 30 nice pics) burn em to a cd. Then charge the person a small fee.

Its a real Japanese plate that a guy I know brought back from there. It rounds out all the JDM parts that are on the car. Just for the look I guess.

Thanks Tommy for the comments....the shot of the rear I think is the best, looks really tough with the dark shadows etc.

yep, just a few bucks for my time....I shoot digital so when all is said and done, a few days later after I shoot your car/truck I hand you a CD with about 15-20 high res images that you can blow up, print out whatever you want to do. PM me if you want to talk more about it. That Mustang of yours would be fun to shoot when you get it ready for the road :thumbsup

I can't believe you can even take photos like that man, the quality is mind blowing and I am not impressed too often by someone's workmanship!! These are easily the finest digital photos I have come across on the net in the last 10 years. Keep 'em coming, I hope there is more where that came from with this year's season starting up.

To be honest, when you announced the photos for BCM people I was completely uninterested, totally reluctant... but I have to admit that I've changed my mind!! How much do you charge? I'm not ready to schedule a specific time yet but I'm about 95% sure I will do it this year. Let me know,

PS: I wish I turn back the hands of time and have you be the photographer instead when I took this picture.. The event happened and I stopped and had to take a picture, it was a rare occurance and almost as rare was the fact I actually had a camera.. It was a disposable 35mm that came inside a giant bag of Puppy Chow (no sh!t).. That picture is actually what happened I did not apply any effects whatsoever.

Any times or ideas of when is fine, if you want slicks and skinnies shots, ill have to trailer it to near the shoot local and drive it the rest of the way in cuz the slicks are pretty worn and dont wanna do 30 miles of hwy driving (each way) on them :goof

Not 8mp (6.3mp actuall) but file sizes of 3072x2048 48bit 240dpi RAW with an APS size sensor. Equivalent of 10.75x Optical zoom and a "fast" f/2.8 max aperature (on wide angle lens). Decent deal at $900.

WOW, that is a pretty decent deal I'd say....w/ 2 lenses? Nice! Get a DSLR if you can swing it....its SO much more fun than a point/shoot style digital camera.

Nan - I shoot a Nikon D70 6.3MP DSLR I don't have any real expensive lenses or anything....here is what I have:

Tamron 28-200mm (F4-F32)
Nikkor 1.8 50mm (F1.8-F22)
Zenitar 2.8 16mm (F2.8-F22)

you can shoot nice pictures if you learn to use the equipment you have. I don't have a lot of money so I can't afford these $1000 wide angles like some guys can. But I have fun and make do! :thumbsup

Is there a specific location you use, and is this 6pm time firm? I've got an autox at Miller Park till around 4pm saturday, so I'd be down provided I can get the car cleaned up in time. Any chance you'd like to move it up to the earlier in the afternoon and take some live (moving) shots during the autox?

unfortunately I can't really do it any earlier....I have some stuff going on during the day. Sorry dood...6pm isn't "firm" it could be a little later. But not too much later so we lose sunlight. I have some good spots to shoot. I scout them out myself. Your ACR might be cool if we did a parking garage shoot...those are always fun. :stare :thumbsup

I want my car shot, but I am waiting for the first big snowfall to happen. Then I want a pic of #517 on top of the biggest snowbank I can find. Then I want a shot of it doing AWD rooster tails in a snow covered parking lot while the soccer moms and kids run for cover... Or maybe just doing syncronized doughnuts in a parking lot with another local AWD car... :shades
