Went to Al's first time in almost 2 months, they have 2 new g-bodies....slim pickings. A early 80's SC Monte and a pre-86' Grand Prix. The Monte is very much a base model with a blue interior and the GP has t-tops and bucket seats, like a few others they've gotten in recently. Saddle interior, car is pretty much all there. The doors are pretty solid appearing, but not sure if a repaint is hiding any rust issues. I robbed it of the t-top metal plates as those suckers were 99.9% rust free, quite hard to find :). I was gentle with the car though....roof is pretty clean for a t-top car in the rustbelt. Just a heads up for anything.

Darn it , I knew I shoulda went Saturday :goof
Those T-top pieces are like gold. Which is one of the reasons I am not sure if I ever want to buy a T-top car :wow

Just buy a southwestern car to start with ;) :D. The peices around here or anywhere in the rustbelt are gold I agree....I've seen a few most at Al's have been total junk, these are cherry.

Both are A/C cars.

I'm sure the GP had the under radiator brace, next time I go I'll yank it for ya. Same with the underhood ones, if they are there.

Al's is 422/425-1980, IRC....the fact that I might know that off the top of my head scares me, especially since I have rarely ever called ther. :wow :stare :goof .

Any 78-88 g-body frame will work except an Elky of course...84'+ have an extra part welded for the 200-4r crossmember, I think....
