Go to LS1, LS2, LS1tech etc........ and their are plenty of write ups on how to make one with a 20 cent resister from Radio Shack. But, if you want it to look prety, the harness you can buy for $30 just tucks up with the factory harness. I spent the $30, but I made one for my buddy's TA for about 20 cents. It's pretty easy.

Don't buy one for 30 bucks, big waste of money, the mod is called !cags, do a search for it on ls1.com

Just buy the skip shift kit, it has a resistor in the dummy plug that plugs into the wire harness from the car after you disconnect it off the driver side of the tranny to trick the computer into think its still there and operational, hence why your skip shift light will still come on after the mod. It comes with a dummy plug to go in the solenoid to keep dirt and junk out.

Go here http://www.installuniversity.com/install_university/index.htm then over on the left click install documents, then down to the transmission section. Then the "!CAGS SLP" It's a very nice walkthrough with pics. I used it when I installed mine. There is also info on how to make your own with a resistor from Radio Shack.
