easier to deliver fuel to, cheaper, and less complictation as far as throttle linkages/etc....who knows? might be a temp set-up....

i helped a friend to a blow through T70 setup on his 88 dodge dakota 360 carbed. Its obviously not as fuel economical or as easy to tune IMO, but its simple, effective and cheap. All you really need is a modified blow through carb, carb hat is all you need basically. Getting the jetting down is a bit tricky and I dont know anything about car carbs so I was lost on that part. The quickest blow through carb has gone 7.86 @ 180 in the Tyson mustang which is pretty damn good.

That LS1 car is sweet excpet for the cheby symbol. Looks like it could be a potential 8sec setup! Sweet engine, sweet power adder, sweet car = fast car :headbang

i think it is odd but cool. they prolly carbed it to save money on efi conversion. i think the bowtie is pretty gay tho.

I think the Bow tie is the best part. Just adds insult to injury. :thumbsup

Now how strong are those LS1 blocks in terms of HP?

I havent seen one fail --The weak point on a ls1 is the rods /pistons.
If they would of did a forged bottom end on them there would be a buttload of high 9 mid to low 10sec ls1's around here-Cranks are ok but if its commin apart you might as well stroke the bizatch.they should of made the sleeves thicker as well--

That is really a chevy guy that decided not to keep sticking money into his ls1 f-body or whatever after he realized how ugly it was and wanted to have the looks of a fox body. :headbang no jk Car is beutiful but bow tie has to go!

Wow... :stare

That guy wins my award for Most Unusual Combo Of The Century!! (This is a very rare award!!) :goof

I would love to be that guy, every time he pops the hood and the Ford-worshippers take their first look!! :rolf :D

I would consider putting a Buick or Ford motor into my GMC just for the reactions! LOL

Oh come on, we have an even rarer combo right here in milwaukee. the RX7/LS1 combo of Turbogarret's!!!

That is something I would do though, LS1 in a fox body. Had planned on it just for the sake of $$$. It's so hard to work on these 4th gens. But that fox body platform has been around so long, there's millions of suspension setups available for it and turbo plumbing/routing would be easy as hell then

dunno about that one. there are a lot of LS1/LT1 RX7s, and beginning to be a lot more turbo'd ones, so id say this wierdo with the fox chassis is much more rare.
