Would anybody be intrested in a cool project car? My buddy is selling an RX-3 wagon. the car is complete with a boat load of extra parts including extra molding and chrome trim. The car is rolling but does not have a motor or trans. It would be an absolute awsome car to put a healthy small block or even a turbo buick motor into. The car has no rust but could use paint. this is when Mazdas were solid cars. When you close the doors, it has a nice thud and not that tingy sound.
I think the car is very cool looking and if I had the cash, I would do somthing with this thing. This is what the car looks like but picture it as a hatchback/wagon. Maybe im wierd but I think the car has a lot of potential.
Just respond here if intrested. he is looking to get around $1800 for the car and all the parts.

these cars are super badass...I have a friend in Racine that has one like the picture. The sedans/wagons are really hard to find. They are very cool when you swap in the 13B rotary. The one pictured is an amazing car! OMG
You are right though, a turbo Buick motor would be very slick as well in one of these.

If no luck around here, post it over at rx7 club (rx7club.com) or nopistons (nopistons.com) , those rotary fanatics would love it. If the car is clean, he should have no problem getting 1800 for it.

It looks a lot like that one but the tail lights go from horizontal, not verticale.
I will try to get pictures but it's stored away in a barn. It might be hard but I will get them as good as I can.

Reminds me of the 74 rx4 wagon that I stuffed a 327 and powerglide into. Axle ratio in those things is like 4:11 to 1, so I went with a Vega axle and used a 76 Monte driveshaft. It was my daily driver. :D
