Never heard of it!!
Seen it a few weeks ago a guy came to my work with it to get some parts blasted. It was a black 4th gen T/A not sure what year maybe 2000 and had NHRA emblems :confused
Is this a real edition that GM made???
I just find it hard to think if it was rare that someone would drive it in the snow

Yes...it's a real option. They had one on lot when I ordered my Hawk. Think it just basically consists of the emblems. And if you got a manual, it automatically got a hurst shifter, and if you chose the auto it got the better gear ratio standard....or something like that. Here's a link to a guys for sale for pretty cheap IMO that can't sell his http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240294&highlight=nhra
Pretty near to us too and runs 12's

Seems like it's nothing special to pay up for. Just another beat to poo T/A. :confused I would rather pay $12000 for a virgin T/A with or without it being an NHRA car.

I don't think they're anything special, but I'm sure they hold their value better than your basic f-body. I see what you're saying, why would anyone drive it in the snow? I know a few guys with 35th ann SS's, even here in South Carolina they only see the road on nice days, granted we do have a lot of them down here!

Sometimes you just don't have a choice about driving it in winter. It's either you have the car and drive it year round, or don't drive it.

Because the only thing that seperates it apart are badges and a shifter(which was an option anyway) or a rear gear ratio, it doesn't seem to desirable. Only thing that makes it stick out are the badges and the low # made.
