Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember hearing on TV years ago that one of the rules for an IROC car, is that it must be of a current production car. Well I watched the first of the four IROC races of this year a couple of weeks ago.
I'll repeat it again, this was not a rerun of one of last years races, or a race a few years ago, this was the first race of the series for 2005. And I see that they are still using Trans Am's. Whats up with that? Did they change the rule stating that it had to be a current production car? I'm just curious thats all.
