anyone here make and install countertops ? I'm looking at putting new cabinets in my kitchen and will need new tops as well.

I don't do solid surface, but I do a VERY good job with marble/ceramic/granite tile on countertops for a fraction of the price of solid surface. If you would like, I can show you pictures (of my own work) of how good it looks. You can match the grout to the tile and the grout lines aren't as noticable as you would think.
