The tint on my Mustang is ooooold as hell. To the point where the back window is bubbled all to hell. Looking for someone to remove the old stuff and redo the window (maybe the whole car if the price is right). I used to take my stuff to Untouchable on the south side but I heard he's not really doing it anymore. Anyone got any personal recomendations? Thanks!! :D

I got my SS done at Blackout per the recommendations on this board primarily. Price might be higher than some others but the quality and service I was very pleased with. Would go back there again to get another car done...

This topic has been brought up a few times, a search might find more opinions too. HTH.

Black out or sunbuster are good from what I hear, but Kartunes sucks azz.

A buddy of mine got one of those deals from Kartunes for the first 10 callers(100.00 deals). They did a really shiaty job, bubbles everywhere on the back window, the tint peeling off after 3 weeks of getting it done..

Hey Dave (xsbc63x) didnt you say they did a shiatty job on your SS?

IMO Kartunes dont know who to treat there customers right, if your looking to get a remote starter for you car, I suggest you go some where else other than car tunes. ( I have another buddy that had terrible service there).

untouchables. He still does it my buddy just got his audi done. THe guy does an extremely good job and the price is reasonable I think he charged my buddy 125.

I got my old car and my GTP done at sunbuster my friend Doug works there. Let me know I will see if I can get you a deal. He would have to do it as a side job though.

honestly the tint market around here is pretty good as long as you go to a name brand place. price is the factor. i know for a fact the auto sound and effects place overcharges like a mother, theres a place down capitol, same thing.

Well I wouldn't go to Kartunes if they did do a good job Kartunes has a bad rep is that they made copies of your keys why your car was being worked there and stealing shiat out of your car in the next few weeks...

It always made me wonder why they would ask your friend for his home address?

BTW, How much does Black out tinting charge for 5 or 20% window tint for a Camaro ?

I had my mustang done at what was 'an untouchable enterprise' which I think is now blackout.

I would definately go back, and I send as many people as I can there.

Tint is still looking like the day it was put on.

I have been going to Kartunes for over 4 years and never heard about that crap.. Why do they ask for your address? They send out mailings?? Maybe for warranty information too?

The thing with Kartunes was a while ago. The American in Oak Creek had the same thing happen. They sell you the stuff and then find where you live and then steal it right back.

I think American did that to me. Had xm radio installed on a Friday, gone on Sunday and nothing was broken on the car.

Yikes.

Thats one reason I almost never give out my address with car stuff locally, even the home phone number can be used to find an address. There isn't a need to know for them, IMO.

Just got the windows tinted on the truck yesterday. I had it done at black out. Awesome job, I will definatly be taking my car there in the summer.
