These are 1/4 scale RC cars.

Go to "Cars" then click "New Era" and scroll down to pictures for some dragster models.

Makes me want to take one to GLD and run 1/4 of the 1/4 mile (1/16 mile!)

I must partially be a democrat because I bought something that I would not be able to use to its fullest extent with any of my current planes.

Now I ask myself "what to do with 9 channels"

My current project, that P51, will use 6 channels (aileron, elavator, rudder, throttle, flaps, & landing gear) and possibly a 7th for a smoke pump or working bombs.

I also recieved criticism from my sisters for spending so much. All I could respond is that they have spent more money on a single pair of shoes which have only been worn once.

Not bad, I'll have to file that one away for later use (hope you don't mind) :D

Go right ahead. I could even say that she spent more money on all of hers shoes than I spent buying my last three cars combined!

What's really funny/pathetic is how she would not walk into Sears when I wanted to buy some clothes there. She said that the clothes were for "trashy" people who can't afford quality clothing. I had to remind her that the clothes sold at both stores were all made in China and shallow thinking like that won't get her anywere (just take a bigger bite out of her bank account or whoevers card she is using).

Simply put, the two of them (have yet to mention the other) are spoiled.

When it comes to argueing with them, they play the "you can't win" tactic despite the fact that I already won.

I'm just glad that they still call it "a mans world."

No, I fly at the Astrowings field off I43 at Hwy 32 in Grafton.

At least I haven't gone into jets yet. The engines alone don't go for less than $1500 for a Chinese version.

This guy has quite a few jet planes.
