It ficken cold out there. I spent a half hour trying to get into my garage when I was leaving work. My locks got frozen. Is it spring time yet?

My neighbor's locks weren't frozen.... the whole car door was. All of them and the hatch....

hahaha last night my shop door lock was frozen.. i was ready though i had the tourch in my hand cuz it was in the garage..but then i grabbed the hot knob and burnt my hand.. DOH! :alcoholic :thumbsup it opened though

Is WD40 the right or wrong thing to use on your locks to keep them from freezing?

That should work fine... I dip my key(s) in Mobil1 then have lock sex with all the locks for a few seconds each, works great :thumbsup

All that rain we got the other day soaked up into all the padlocks/door locks at work :mad: I had to go get some lock deicer :fire !!
But on a good note my work is right behind my house so i got to pull the GT into the 70degree garage and give it a bath and just leave it in there till monday :thumbsup Oh i told them i had to work on it :rolf

When I started the truck today in garage the thermo registered 29* but within 5 minutes of pulling out of the garage it was showing 7*....now thats friggin cold! :wow
