I got passed by a 4x4 70ish Chevelle on hwy 45 at 894 the day I went to pick up the washer and dryer from GunmetalZ28's place. I was on the phone and all of a sudden this thing goes whippin past me and I'm just like WTF was that :stare

There was a 4x4 Camino in Germantown a few years ago. The car wasn't lifted or anything, so I thought it came that way.

BTW- I don't think that it is a car converted to 4x4; more like 4x4 with a body swap. Then again, the DMV only cares about the body, not the innards.

Probably about 75% of these conversions use either a K5 blazer chassis or an older fullsize bronco. Short wheel base 4x4s that already had kind of a unibody on them so its fairly easy to just drop something else on there to make it look different. There used to be a few web pages that showed the process for doing this on a few different cars.
