Just for conversation sakes here I must ask a question. Does anyone think it would be possible to do an LT1 or LS1 swap into a cavalier? I kno pro drag racers did one least I think they did, but is it possible for a streetable car like that. I kno theres the 5.0 focus and all, but I would like to see a 5.7 cavalier...any thoughts? I think it would be totally killer.

Well anythings possible, I guess. You'd have to move the firewall back and chop the floor for the tranny/driveshaft tunnel, and thats just the beggining.

There is a 86' or 87' Cavalier Z-24 with a TPI 350 swapped in, converted to RWD, etc. Lots of work and if I recall it still has the stock wheels so it appears totally stock....I'm sure it can haul too....there is a page for it online somewhere, if I ever find it I'll link it. An LT1 wouldn't be much different.

After seeing a focus with an 03 cobra driveline swap and a gn powered metro anything can be done if you have the time/money/skills.
