NO Way that it makes 1500 hp! Just retrieving from my knowledge of small jet turbine engines, there is nothing that small capable of producing that much hp. A typical engine making 1500 hp is about 4 ft long.

I bet he goofed on the math and forgot to use BOTH the rpm and tq numbers at the wheels. I wouldn't doubt 80-100 hp.


This makes me want to continue developement of my nitrous rocket powered RC Me 162.
