anyone know anything about the good ol 3800 v6 tranny fwd?

mine let go on friday without ay warning in my Bonneville SSE --i was on the x-way doing 60ish and all of a sudden it felt like it was trying to engage in reverse weird, then it was ok and i drove it 2hrs later it did the same thing -but this time as soon as i stopped "no more tranny" hmmmm :fire
AND WHERE THE HELL IS MY SIG> BANNER AGAIN LMAO!

I work at a car dealer ship let me know if you need to get it rebuilt. I will talk to one of the tranny guys. He is really good and will do side jobs out of his house.

i might just get rid of it if its not a simple fix --the car has a lot of nice options --heated windsheild-auto tint rear veiw mirror -ect.
shame it did this because it was a decent comfy car

add tranny fluid :confusedlmao i did that it has something internally wrong i believe dunno sux either way--kinda been looking at a older vette 85ish always liked those "kinda wanna make one a road race car --drag raceing i just plain boaring to me now --wait an hour to run 10-11 sec --at road america i coud pound the crap out a car all day :thumbsup

no I dont I just know when the 3.8's kill a trans it is usualy a destroyed tranny!
