I found this looking over the ever so popular Maddox site.
The best part is that he is unbiased to either demestic or imports and generally doesnt care about cars either way.

That is probably how %90 of the people out there view the subject, Maddox is probably not "in to cars" like we are.

He does have a point though.

For instance, why do I spend so much of my money on cars when i could just ssell off everything but my integra and spend that money elsewhere.

Then again, I could only spend money on what I need and not what I want. I'd be limited to food clothing and shelter. Being full grown, the clothes would last as long as I was good to them and be a one time expense. For shelter, I could go down to Texas and park a van by a river (no need for winter heat near mexico) and never pay rent. For food, i could either by cheap food or live off the land.

Overall, I'd be a minimalist if I only spent money on stuff I needed. I'd probably only need to work a few hours a week to supply for the basics.

BUT... I have "wants" and spend my money frivolously on them.

Hmm... maddox has a bit of that "marxist" mentality going there!
