hey yoosof,
it all depends on who you get?
which line has which person.
i have taken the camaro in to the one in west allis, curtis rd.
and the dude that handled my car was a gear head like us,
and he did a great job.

i have gone their with my other 89 IROC-Z,
and some girl was working my line,
and she popped the clutch trying to drive my car on the Dyno part,
and she HIT THE FRICKEN FAN with the front of my car!
I went absolutely ballistic. screaming, yelling, etc...
they were guna call the police, i said, go ahead!
you cant even drive my car 10 feet without hitting something!!!!!!

Its BS that we have to let someone else drive our cars. :fire

well besides your muffler, you don't have any mods so you were in good shape there. But for a modded car, you have to be careful where you take the thing.

yeah I don't know man...I would maybe go to Tommy's suggestion. The feline delete option makes it difficult. I had a buddy with a WRX get some flak from one of the testing spots in West Allis. He was really close to not passing. So they did a "visual inspection" and popped his hood. Well you can't have an open element air filter on a polution-controlled vehicle in WI anymore so they failed him! Thats messed up!

Go to the DMV and handle it that way

open element? like a cone filter?

grr dont know what im gona do then for my test, i was told to just take some of the pipes out of the turbo and make it into a short ram intake but have to have a cone filter for that and the box intake does not fit any more due to the fuel pump. maybe move the fuel pump with some mad ass zipties or something

jbiscuit
11-09-2004, 10:22 AM
due to your fuel pump? where is your air filter, in your gas tank?

deciuss
11-09-2004, 10:25 AM
the fuel pump is attached the to firewall the extra inline fuel pump. the air filter is near the fuse box next to it but lower then it, its in there tight thow dont even know how im going to get it out to change it in 3,000 miles. hence me wanted to get rid of the civic after tuning and pick up the legacy lol dont gota worry about all this stuff then.

Yoo,

Get ahold of White Z, your car is OBDII they only plug it in, if it has more than two OBDII tests incomplete it will fail then they gotta dyno it. Mine being an 01' can only have one or less incomplete, mine had 2 the first time i went, then they canceled the test right away so it was like i wasnt even there and they didnt have to dyno it. If it fails teh OBDII test they care gonna dyno it no matter what, then its gotta pass the sniffer test for the rest of the emmission tests it has to go through as long as you own it, dont screw your self over!! cuz it will fail imediatly on the sniffer with that cam, youll end up wrenching on it for days and having to run pure methanol in it just to get it to pass, just not worth it
