Personally, I think jon stewart is a funny guy...but I don't think one can take him seriously. So I don't.

I do think it shows how stupid CNN was for putting him on the show. If jon doesn't like debate shows, why would someone do a show on it? :sgay

I took the whole thing as a joke mainly. I just thought it was funny how he tore into them even though in real life he probably agrees with them 100%.

I whole heartedly agreed with John.

Media does not make politicians answer questions, instead they are allowed to twist in whatever point they want. I can stand listening to them talk.

The guy in the bowtie could not stand that he was being 0wn.T in his own game. You could see his fraustration plain as day and his attempts to come back at John were sorry as hell to.

Even the crowd was agreeing with John.

If you think he agrees with them, then you didn't get what he was talking about.

He's supposed to be the entertainment, He's the one with the fake news show. He's the actor, the theatre is his arena.

They are supposed to be the news, sources of FACT. Obviously they are not, they're there for entertainment of the masses.
That was his main point, that and the rest of the news channels are complete BS now.

It's not really their fault though. They're only on because society chooses to watch that and it's a function of societies wish to watch a dumb down version of the news and politics. If society thought that crossfire was not intellectual enough then their ratings go down and they are pulled off the air and are replaced by a more intellectual show. Society wants to hear rhetoriec and doesn't want to pay attention the real issues.

i think 02 said it the best and i agree with that. if no money comes in show gets pulled but some one has to be waching it. personaly i never have even herd of the showuntill i saw that vid
