I can't seem to get a straight answer on this by searching. Does anybody know if you can install a new bcm and get the vehicle to run? The bcm on my wife's equinox gave up last weekend with all functions no longer working. I replaced the bcm with an a Delco unit from rock auto and the windows lights and gages are working but I believe I need to flash the bcm to get additional functionality. Does the flash need to be done to enable vehicle start or should I be looking for another issue related to the no start condition? I may be stuck towing it to dealer in slinger from hartford.
