Any recommendations for a machine shop? I need the outside diameter of the axle flange on some axles turned down.

Where the drum/rotor goes on with the wheel studs? If yes I would try A1 drive shaft or Machine Services in Waukesha.
They would need a lathe that can hold a axle. Another place to call is AMS in West Allis and talk to Steve. Automotive Machine Services. It's 9426 West Schlinger Avenue.

Yes, where the rotor goes on with the wheel studs. I need the edge turned down to fit a different rotor. I will give those places a call. I tried master machine which I saw mentioned in a search and they never got back to me.

Have you ever checked out the Milwaukee Makerspace?
If you know how to operate a lathe, they have one that could handle an axle.

I can do it depending on if I have a way to clamp on it. Can you send me a picture?
