The guy I bought the mustang from swapped a mach1 interior into this car and some of the panels don't fit real great. Hard to tell where the weatherstripping is supposed to be sitting, the panels fit about the same regardless of where the stripping is placed. I'd like to see the way it's supposed to be, and work from there. I need pics around the door area, and mostly by where the seatbelts attach to the pillar in the rear, that panel fits like crap, and I can't get it any better. Any help/info is appreciated.

[/COLOR]OK so I got it better. I think part of the problem is that the push pins that hold the panel in place are all worn out. They don't grab like they should anymore. I will get some new ones. So here are some more pics. I still can't figure out if the plastic panels like the rear and the front pillar are supposed to go over the rubber or under. It fits either way, looks right either way, except in the corners. Also, something is obviously wrong with the way the rear deck lid padding is placed also correct? Is it possible that it shrunk that much, or is it just another poor install job. The seats don't close very easily, so I am thinking its some shrinking, and some poor fitment. From what I read, the panels I just put back in place have to come off again to do the lid correct? So I will get the push pins and then move on to that deck lid. http://s27.postimg.org/6xz67z0zn/stang2.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/43w0uiytb/full/) free jpeg images (http://postimage.org/)http://s27.postimg.org/v0g02uhmr/stang5.jpg (http://postimage.org/) image hosting (http://postimage.org/)http://s27.postimg.org/c6u75ujer/stang6.jpg (http://postimage.org/) image hosting over 5mb (http://postimage.org/)http://s27.postimg.org/o11y3hhoj/stang4.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/p3c4m10hr/full/) imgur (http://postimage.org/)http://s27.postimg.org/4pkzqmtvn/stang3.jpg (http://postimage.org/) post images (http://postimage.org/)http://s27.postimg.org/opasmfgeb/stang.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/a63nl0n9b/full/)image hosting 20mb (http://postimage.org/)

I am also looking for various interior parts for the car. I don't have the covers for the seat belt bolts, and one of the seat belt buckles, the drivers side is still tan. I can probably remove that and paint it, but the covers just aren't there.

Little shit like that I'd think a junkyard would have a shit ton of them, wouldn't it?

Also, you need to get some winter bullitt rims and snow tires for that car... here's a nice set of rims with free tires: http://www.brewcitymuscle.com/forum/showthread.php?56610-17x9-99-04-bullet-mustang-wheels

I'd never drive the car in winter. I actually already have 2 sets of wheels for it for winter. However, I would be interested in those wheels for my 2012 Chrysler 200. According to the tirerack, they have the same bolt pattern as the mustang. I wonder if they would fit, I have the factory 18" wheels now, I don't see why they wouldn't. Let me try my set of cobra wheels I have over the weekend, I am honestly interested in them for my 200.

the weather stripping should go over the top of the pillars.

the rear headrest looks like all of my mustangs, massive gaps on the side. not sure why they did that. there isn't much room for adjustment. fold the back seats down, and there should be 3 bolts that hold it on, loosen those a touch and see what you can do.

also, there are plastic alignment pins in the panels, if those are bent, they may not be making it into the holes and not allowing them to snap completely into place. check to see if any of those are bent or creased.

Bought some new pins from a vendor at Jefferson this weekend. I looked about about 20 different mustangs in the car show, the weatherstripping was under the pillar on all of them except a few. It fits either way. I will play with it more as I have time. Thanks.
