I have a position available at my company for a sub contractor.

The candidate would be replacing me when I am busy on another call, sick, or on vacation. This is a 24 hour on call position, but if your not called out you will get a flat daily rate of pay. There is enough work work in Chicago/and the North suburbs to give you a 30 hour week if you show my boss you can be counted on. We also have some bigger jobs coming up that could give you a 40 hour week. It all depends on you. Driving is paid by time and mileage. The last tech made almost as much as I make in a week in 2 days! But this isn't a full time gig yet but a great way to make some mad money for the summer, or get your foot in the door.

I can train you if you have a strong work ethic, but if you are called when you are "on call" and you don't or cant go, termination is eminent. (This happened to the last guy)

Knowledge of PBX, Fiber, networking and simple trouble shooting is a plus, a clean driving record and pass a drug test.

Things needed for the job,

Laptop
A good running vehicle
Cell phone
Basic hand tools
( I know who doesn't have these?)

PM if interested...... I will talk to you about the job, then get your resume.
