Recent scrap car value?

My kid has a running/driving 3.8 Buick that is rusted to the point the K-frame is coming free, is it worth driving it to a yard (will have to strap chassis k-frame better) or is scrap still decent money? I remember being pleasantly surprised when I scrapped an enginless van for like $300 not too long ago.

Car is at Oklahoma and Hwy 100 area so I would take it south towards Als I guess or call a suggested scrapper you guys would mention.

Scrap yard in Franklin usually gives decent for cars, would scrap the car separate for a little extra ching

You should be able to get around $80-100 for the cat if it's the Oval or triangle shaped one. Scrap is still down right now you'll be lucky to get 300 for the car with out the cat and 350 with.

We got $250 scrap for my grandmas old 92 dodge Spirit, and we kept the battery and some other odds and ends. They even picked it up. Just call around to see who will give you the most
