To do the headlights would I have to bake them to separate them?
And the fog lights. should I use the VHT Nightshade, or is there another product
I can use?

This will probably make you guys think I am crazy if you already don't.
I may do the whole car in the Satin Black PLasti-dip. Think I have the idea on how
it should be done now. And it would protect the paint from chips, scratches, and the
environment. Paint will look like new when I peel off the P-D.

I didn't think it would take long.

Tinting the headlights, taillights and fogs would look nice.

The plasti-dip is good for the chrome and emblems because it peels off so easily

Looks good as is. Leave it alone. Please, for the love of all that is holy, leave that poor car alone.

So because its easy to remove... its a good idea to put on? I guess I don't follow your logic. If removal is the goal, skip a step and just don't put it on to begin with?

I like porks idea used to be and probably still is a popular 4th gen camaro upgrade called the whistler mod. Could probably do some research on that do get an idea of how to do it. I do know it requires baking the housing and seperating. As for tinting you can do it two ways that i know of VHT which i've used and works good if you put some time into it which most people do not. Or the way Pork would recomend and the more permanent way use clearcoat with a few drops of black added. That way its Clear protected with the tinted color ;)

Good old plasti dip. For heavens sake don't discover a cheap quick fix to make your car look good. Now everyone wants to do it. Besides the people who realize its a waste of time, and completely asinine. Wheels, sure, small parts sure, but why invest so much time in something that will last only a few years? Only to put in the work to take it off, or leave it to the next owner.

Nothing beats a well kept paint job. I guess all in all in my opinion if you treat your car like a cheap bucket, it will start to look like one, and people will generalize it as a cheap bucket. I've bought my fair share of crap for my cars in the past, and with those specific items every time less $ equaled less quality and more headaches. You learn a little bit each year, lol.
