I've got a LS1 shortblock in need of a lifterbore sleeve, and a complete 5.3 with truck accessories, cable throttle.

how much for either and what year is the 5.3 from? he didnt want the motor I had because he wanted an alum block not iron.

the 5.3 is iron. Block is an 03, heads are low mile (I believe 01?) LS1 853s that are shaved .028 back to stock compression, and the intake is off of a 99.
I'm into the LS1 for about 400 (bought off joe, plus picked up a used crank and pistons/rods)
I'm into the 5.3 for about 900 including the used cam, new valve springs, pushrods, trunion upgrade, ARP studs, etc.

I've got a complete 6.0 LQ4. They'll take boost at 550rwhp all day long, and 800rwhp in grenade mode.

The car he is putting it into necessitates an alum block so although he got plenty of offers, the iron block wont work for him.
