Well....

Last nigh while laying in bed around 3 a.m. I hear the horn in my car start hoking. I jump out of bed...run to the window....look out....and....nothing. I grab my car keys to see what the deal was because with the anti-theft system in my Cavalier when you lock the doors with the remote....you have to unlock them with the remote otherwise the horn honks like crazy.
I go outside to see what the deal is. It appears that somebody had pried my window out of the track and away from the car....then proceded to try and unlock the door (lock by the handle on the inside). Once they unlocked it they opened the door and to their surprise :guns1 .
What a bunch off assholes!!!! The only time I leave my CD player face on some losers have to attempt some crap like this. So not only did they get NOTHING.... they left pry dents and chip marks around my window and tore my window tint. Bastards are lucky they got away before I got a chance to see them :fire

Thank's to GM Anti-Theft.... not stolen was:
My pioneer CD player
My JL Audio W6's
My Sony Amps
My Coustic 3-way x-over
100 Cd's
Golf Clubs
Misc. tools for work

Just happy they got nothing. Things coulda been worse.

No antitheft for my Escort. About a month ago someone stole my deck out of it.

Sorry to hear about it :(. The risk of body damage is one reason I leave my doors unlocked, or did many times. Glad to hear they didn't succeed and you have your deck. Probably the same assclowns that got mine Friday night. Where were you parked about in town? Always curious where the thefts or break ins seem to occur. Lesson learned(at least for me): always take the face off and with you, do not leave in the car unless you are certain there is no chance of a break in.

Damn it... I'll have to find a different way of getting in your car next time.... :goof

The 'ol "Brick through the Window" trick like in 'Gone in 60 Seconds' will be my next move... :cool2:

Sucks that this happened, but like you said,... it could have been worse....

Next time you'll just have to get out there quicker and bring a baseball bat with you.... :banana

Haha I knew it was you bastard!!!! :goof

I live around hwy 100 and Lincoln.

The car was only parked about 15 feet from my bedroom window...and 10 feet from my back door. I dind't really hear any cars take off....so either they parked on the other side of the block... or the would be theifs live closer than I think :(

Any suggestions for my integra? the windows do not have the frame of the door around them and the locks are manual. Right now, the radio is stock and sucks bad. I have a deck to put in it eventually.

to bad we dont live in texas. if someone trys to steal somthing or break in your house and they are on your property you can shoot them dead. someone stole my car 2 years ago right infront of my house. if i ever caught someone doing that i would beat them sensless and leave them there.

You better shoot 'em dead and hope they don't have any family.

Although you 'can' shoot 'em if you wound them, they can sue you and if you kill them, their family can sue you. Especially if they're not in your home.

Dump the body somewhere and never tell anyone about it. :guns1 :goof

Or shoot them when they are facing you, not in their back...then you can claim self defense perhaps....
