Was looking at a C/D in the doctors office and was looking at a article about the new 14 Camaros. Said something about a NO FRILLS R/S Camaro to be offered. I am thinking or wanting some thing like a radio deleat rubber floor mat and light weight van seats. Their 580hp motor with a glide and a brake and a 9 inch to back it up. Sound something like a COPO but its nice to think about. Just give me the COPO body and I will build my own motor.

I think the original production run was a limited number of 69. They had one being built on the show of Fast and Loud a while back. Its nice to see the big three stepping up to the plate with some nice drag only cars.

Recent episode showed that GMG bought a bunch of those COPOs and are selling them through their shop.

Yeah he bought 14 rolling chassis. I wonder how much they go for. My guess $30k

From what I have found out you will need to finish the set up with your motor, trans and center section. Not a bad price for what your getting.

$55k plus the cost of an engine and trans that is worthy of the roller......so like what, $70,000 or more when it is all said and done?

Your point? For a brand new dedicated drag car that sounds pretty reasonable.
