....would you like to do a few laps/passes in, and why?

Top Fuel ?
Funny Car?
F1?
Indycar?
Nascar?
Rally?
Tudor? (ALMS/Grand Am)
Monster Truck?
Other????

F1 car for me to feel the g forces. But they are so hard to drive might want to take a few laps in a Tudor Prototype.

I would love drive the GT Vette around Sebring or the Circuit de la Sarthe. Or even around my block lol.

Sebring is a S*** track IMO...Super bumpy. Excellent choice for car tho!

I like acceleration...so top fuel for me. FWIW, the peak G's felt by formular 1 in corners in races are ~ = to what forces top fuel drivers experience during a race; ~ 4G's.

Its not on the list but for me its a PRO STOCK car. Nothing like side stepping the clutch a 9,000rpm and shifting gears. For me it all about a door car. One hand on the wheel and one on the levers.

Rally for me, I would love the constant speed of the others but I think I would get more enjoyment out of sliding through the corners in a rally car.

All above are great.....But yea, the 917 is something special!

Obviously all of them but if I had to pick one............. Cup car at Daytona or 'Dega. Before you jump up my ass, let me explain. I'm the kind of guy that likes to get behind a car on the interstate, set the cruise control to match theirs and get around them by going around the corners better. Not to mention, I think Cup cars sound the best out of all of them and the first lap with the exhaust bouncing off of the outside wall has to sound awesome from the inside of the car.

I could watch the entire race from the cockpit view! That was awesome to watch.

F1 hands down. They are one of the hardest cars to drive but it would be so much fun hearing the engine scream and taking turns at unheard of speeds!

The vette team usually has a camera in their cars so there are tons of videos out there.

I agree with Daves first post. A F1 car would be something special to drive. Anybody can now drive a few year old car for around $8,000.00 a day. But who on this forum could really get one to speed in just a few days much less just a few laps? I don't think anybody here.

I would take a current DP car. Fast, nimble and fairly easy to drive.

Korndogg You could come up with MANY better tracks to drive that car. Road America for starters.
I drove sebring. Just not that fun.

I've never been on a road course, let alone in a car like that. So any course would get me excited haha.

Come on up sometime next summer and I will take you for a ride around Road America at speed, then you can hop in Todd's car and go even faster!
