03 Cobra value

My friend has an '03 Zinc Yellow Cobra she might be getting rid of. It's a one owner with about 80k miles. Nothing crazy for mods. It has an intake, exhaust, shifter (mostly for the MGW adjustable handle), subframe connectors and IRS brace installed by Marv, new clutch a couple of years ago when the throwout bearing was replaced, and new tires. Daily driven in summer and never driven on a track or the strip.

Looked around online (mostly SVTperformance) but they seem to be lower mileage or "normal" miles with mods. Any thoughts on what it's value might be?

Alas, $15,000 should be what the car is worth however the prices on cobras have remaind steady at about 17-19 for those miles. Color and year dosnt mean a whole lot for a Termy. On average, ones with with 60 or less are solidly in the 20's with ones with 20,000 or less hitting high 20's low 30's.

My initial impression was at least $15k from what I see but it's a bit hard because most have more mods or less miles. I'm not sure if a buyer would want more mods but if they are going to do it anyway than that might appeal to them. I could also see someone wanting less miles. The other bad thing is that, with the exception of eBay, I don't know what cars are actually selling for but only what is being asked. I know she has at least 1 person interested and wants to find a fair price.

let me throw this at you... the program I have searches out vehicles within certain distances of me, and Im up north. these are all stated as yellow COUPE cobra's. I think you can figure out what youre looking at from there. They are all sorted by mileage, and this is searching CL, Cars.com, autotrader, dealer websites. everything. yea, some stuff might be out there and not show up here, but you get the idea.

For comparison a yellow 03 vert w 26k just sold on ebay for $16,100

I think the prices are about to level out where they should be, we will see.

If it was a screaming yellow 04 cobra the price would be a lot higher, but zinc yellow is pretty much hated by all. Black is also becoming a hated color in the cobra community. I believe $15k is a fair price with miles and color.

Guess I never realized there was such a difference in the two colors. Zinc yellow on the left (looking crappy) and screaming yellow on the right (looking hot.)

Is that the termy that was parked daily in summers at the check cashing place on hwy 100 and national by chance? If so, does it have a shitload of door dings from parking in front of a check cashing place? heh, always wondered about that.

No, it's not that one but does look exactly like it.

Funny, if I was going to get a yellow one I'd much rather have ZY than SY. The SY looks too much like a school bus.

I know that was a chicks car, that's the only reason I asked. Can't be many female owned termy's around, esp zinc yellow. Or maybe that was a 01 all along, my memory does fail me sometimes.
