Anyone local shorten Axles?

Have a set of Moser C clip Axles I need shortened by 1/2in. I can send them to Moser but for $125 plus $50 for shipping there and back I mine as well buy new axles. Anyone local that can knock this out? Thanks in advance...

Any competent machine shop can do it, tell them OD and spline count, say you need them "broached".

If your stuck going thru Moser my only experince was great, ahead of schedule and exactly as I requested.
I made several calls when I wanted to do my 8.8 axles and it was cheaper and faster thru Moser (3 days shipped!).

I've used as drives haft at least 5 or 6 times.. good place but it's in the ghetto... 30th and north or with and north iirc.... place looks like a shit hole but they do quick and quality for cheap

You mean A1 Drive Shaft? It's on 35th and Keefe. Neighborhood ain't even that bad.

thanks for the replys, i know a good mach shop can do it... but not being from here was wondering who is reputable.
