Found a new garage mate for the 91 Stealth. 17k miles, mostly stock, well maintained, and ready for fun.

Ended up selling the yellow 94 Stealth, which went to a good home not too far away, close enough where I'll get to see it once or twice a year.

Looking forward to getting pictures taken with both the maroon Stealth and GT-R together. Should make for good eye candy. :headbang:

Are you planning on tracking both cars? Nice looking GTR.

Wow...there's a nice red one on base here with a carbon fiber hood. I pulled up next to him in my srt4 clone and he launched from the light...pretty wicked launch

Nice to see a Red one, I've only seen one red one on the road since they came out here. How much did you get her for? Talk with Martin@AMS, they have some great parts for these beasts and also have one of the fastest ones in the country. Must be nice to have a car that with 3 minor bolt-ons and you'll be running mid 10's. Well that's after you press the 11 buttons to get the thing to launch hard. LOL. Actually looking at the pic again it looks like it's got an exhaust already?

Untill you need to fix it or change the timing belts or replace valves because the foot and hand and brain were not lined up.

Yes, because anything factory with FI blows valves out of heads as soon as you miss a shift ..... lol and you must have never changed a timing belt before on a v6...

I have never seen anything that blows valves out of heads, but I have seen a lot of bent valves. When you do bend a bunch of valves in any little shit box turbo or NA motors its $$$$$ time.

Yeah, because it doesn't cost any money to fix it when you split a 302 in half.

Not sure I would qualify a GT-R as a "little shit box turbo".. A cobbled together Honda motor with a turbo... sure. A hand built VR38DETT... not so much.

And the VR38 doesn't blow valves out of the head anyways - The engine is pretty stout. The transmissions one could argue aren't quite as bulletproof.

Little shit box turbo, lol. That's not even worth a followup comment.

Nick,
Maybe I'll try to get both the Stealth and the GT-R to that show again next year that we did back in late September. Or if I get a chance to do a Nissan meet before then, we'll meet up beforehand and you can take it for a spin.

Vroom,
Yea. What can I say. V6's with Twins are fun to drive and mod.

Stealthy1ss,
I think the Stealth days as a road-course car are over. Though I will be drag racing it again this next year. The GT-R will probably get some track time at RA this coming season with the MFBA event. Going to be hard to pass that up.

I might see you at MFBA this upcoming spring.
