Thinking of a winter build. I like trucks with the first one being the S-15 GMC bracket truck then two years ago the 90 GMC full size bracket truck. I was thinking of some thing along the lines of a first year Colorado with one of my vortec 350 or 383 motors. I have the th350 and 3200 stall trans and converter out of the 79 mustang build I did two years ago. That one wound up with a LS and a 4l60e and down the road it went. I am looking for the weight of the vehical only, two door short box plain standard truck. The S-15 comes in a 2635lbs. in race trim and the 90 has all the factory delivered stuff on it and a cap and recever hitch and come in at a fighting weight of 4225lbs.

Correction on the weight of the 90. On the scale at US 131 Martin MI. it was 4425.

I left everything in it and on it. It does have a cap and a tool box but how much can that be????? Still has air but changed to 134 from the R12, spare 235x75x15 on steel wheel and steel wheels all the way around. That's why I am look at finding the weight of the colorado.

The 1990 GMC SLE trim with a short box standard cab is a full size truck. My 02 s-10 last time on the scales was 3300 with some junk in it. 4 cyl. short box standard cab 5 speed.
