What do you think of this color??

Olive Green (Satin)
Thinking about doing the Hood, Roof and trunk in Satin Black keeping the
Graphics the way they are. Fixing up the shark mouth and painting the
balance of the car this Olive Green..
Only issue I seem to be having is after it dries it Tiger stripes. My thoughts on this are maybe the Grey base coat needs to be Black, any input??

Trying to decide on a color so I painted the one door. If I like it my friend who paints cars professionally said he can match it. He is going to let me use his paint booth, I just have to supply my own paint gun. His are apparently really expensive and he doesn't trust me not to jack it up..

Considering what an awesome job you do taking care of this car, his worries seem unfounded...
Other then the odd paint schemes I take great care of my car. Just changed the oil and filter last week used Mobil 1 Synthetic and a Wix filter.
Changed the air filter and checked all the fluids too.
Did the brakes all the way around with in a week or two of buying the car. Yesterday I vacuumed it out, cleaned some minor stains really just
cleaned up the interior really good.

These are all great ideas but when you keep changing the color what if any prep are you doing I'm picturing many layers of "paint" just stacked up

I've assumed the same thing. But on the other hand who cares. Not one of them has lasted long enough to chip anyway.

I have sanded through the Spray paint and Plasti dip every time.
Primer and paint primer and paint, I will get good at it someday..

A: using spray paint
B: not overlapping your paint enough
C: inconsistant coats

Seriously though. Save some time,materials and most of all cash. Get a photoshop program. Load all the pictures your heart desires and change all the paint colors/graphics you want.

Just an idea.

You can't get those kind of propellants in spray cans anymore, I tried. lol. All of em say no cfc's now. Also on a side note (and also because I don't really care about fucking up this worthless thread) you can't get phosphorus dish detergent anymore either. I've tried every state I roll through and everything is phosphorus free now with one exception, but its a very low percentage. :( If anyone knows where they still sell good ol' phosphate dish detergent, please let me know.

Shit. I honestly didn't know that aerosol spray cans didn't contain cfcs anymore. The government took it absolutely serious when they said all those years ago that the cfcs from aerosol cans were destroying the ozone layer. Damn you BCM for being educational. I did learn something new today.

On another side note I noticed when I was gassing up at my local mobile gas station out here off of Hwy F in Jefferson County that they now carry 91 octane with no ethanol. It's a bit more costly but I will be using it from now on when I'm able to fill up there. :)

I think it would look good but you should go with more of a green color like that Camaro with "F Bomb' on the fender, in that Fast 5 movie. I think it's fast 5. The one where theyre stealing gas in the beginning.
