Don't get me wrong, SA makes some good stuff, but every time I see the XD series I laugh my ass off because it was once upon a time the HS2000 and was priced around $250 bucks cheaper for the same gun........and it didn't have a potentially fatal flaw that required a recall.

Yeah not a good recall. After I read I was like great I have a gun that could really fuck up and kill someone on accident. Makes me want to sell it once I get It back.

Sucks there is no real right price on one. Sent mine in yesterday. Interested on the turnaround time as well.

I shot my Dads a couple weeks ago (no problems thankfully) and I really like it. It would be a good gun for me when I go do work in questionable parts of the city. I just need to get my CC Permit.

Springfield has found the issue with grip saftey and seer on my Dads gun. Theyb are sending it back with a free magazine....I will let you guys know when he gets it back
