its pretty straight forward. The ssei is the sc one right? should be even more simple than the regular intakes. Just take your time remove stuff thats in the way if necessary. Try not to break any vacuum lines :goof

Yes, it is supercharged. The SC takes the place of the Upper Intake Manifold. I got her fixed! NO MORE LEAKS for the leaker = ME!

Its not all bad maybe time consuming at the most. I haven't personally done one yet but there not too different than the 3.1/3.4 we usually get leaking at work.

The only real difference between replacing the LIM gaskets on the 3.8 vs the 3.1/3.4 is you don't have to remove the push rods or valve covers.
Did you get the metal/rubber gaskets and not those crappy plastic ones? The engineer who decided using plastic for a intake gasket or any gasket was a good idea, is an idiot.

The real problem with the 3.8L was routing the egr pipe so that it burns through the upper intake.

^ this.
Had to do that on my Olds 88. Nothing like a hot pipe in the middle of a plastic intake.

I almost forgot about that and what that egr tube is doing right next to a coolant passage it beyond me.
