Normally I don't go around advertising stuff without some kind of compensation, but I think Sig is doing such a shitty job of marketing this fantasic gun, that its worth the post.

Picked this up from Osage County Guns on Gunbroker a couple weeks back, and got it for what I'd say is a STEAL at $455. After paying their $35 shipping (little steep, but OK), transfer, some ammo, an IWB holster and mounting up my Micro90, I have what I'd call a pretty complete personal defense package for $700, which I'm absolutely thrilled about.

One serial number, 2 complete frames with slide, mag, and all. And as an added bonus, the full size 15 round mag fits in the subcompact frame as a backup (the one down side of these is that mags are $40+ before shipping). I ran about 100 rounds through it over the last couple weeks and am thrilled with the results. I loved the FNP-40 that I bought from Devin, but being so large it wasn't a practical carry gun. Now, for what I sold that for (with accessories and some ammo), I have a practical carry gun AND a full size home defense pistol, with the only con being 30 seconds of downtime to move the fire control group between frames (which requires no tools by the way).

Before anyone familiar with the model comments on the early reliability issues of the P250 compact, that was a completely different design, and in my 100 rounds (between both frames) I didn't have a single issue. Every round went when and where I told it to.

It's been around for almost 7 years now so I'm not sure of the marketing issue you speak of.

The only gripe that I have heard from people is the the long trigger pull and reset and being heavier than the M&P40c and Glock 27.

I've actually been wanting to actially shoot one myself.

Trigger pull is long, but smooth with a clean break, so I can't complain, it is a hammer fired DAO gun after all. It shoots as well for me as my FNP-40 did.

The marketing issue being, I had no idea the gun existed and I spent a good deal of time researching. I happened across one on armslist, otherwise I wouldn't have known it existed.

They sell the 2Sum kit in 40 and 9mm. Sounds like its just one frame though. Makes me feel even better about my purchase price. lol

Found it.. 549 with a rebate, 9mm subcompact.

This is a much better deal:

Didn't feel like making a new thread, so I'll just post in this one... picked up a stock 1998 10/22 from a coworker for a decent price, and picked up the barrel from buddy for $50 brand new.. made the sling and stained the stock (though that didn't take too well I'm still OK with the result). Less then $400 and about 10 hours into it with a brick of ammo:
