Help finding parts

I need to replace the frame rails that run across the box on the bottom of a pickup bed. These are what mounts the box to the frame. I cannot find replacements anywhere. Anybody have any ideas? I looked online and in the lmc truck catalog and am having no luck. It's for a 95 Chevy k1500 4x4. Any help is appreciated!

yup. my friend and I have removed and installed the bed on his s10 probably a half dozen times. 8 bolts, tail lights, tailgate, filler neck, and making sure wiring harnesses under it aren't attached and the two of us lifted it off.

Man, me and two other guys and a crackhead took my old, rotted to shit, no tailgate box off easy. It took six guys, struggling to put the nice new rust free tailgate and fiberglass cap on it box on!


Them 88-99 boxes are all over craigslist from $250-500

Well I guess what sucks is I bought this bed as an extra to work on while I can still use the truck. The exterior is in great shape but the frame supports have rot. I paid $150 for it and figured I could just drill out the spot welds and weld some new ones in. Bummer :(

I'm surprised lmc or browns doesn't sell the supports. How is the floor and supports on your original bed? You could just unbolt the sides off the new bed and bolt them to the old bed floor.

Honestly I didn't even know that the sides unbolt? I guess I just assumed it was all welded on.

I'm not positive on yours, but on the 73-87's they come apart in four big parts; the front gate, two sides and one floor. With the wheel wells bolting to the sides and floor.

I was curious so I called browns and they actually do have them for $36 a piece. Looks like I gotta take a drive
