Anyone here professionally prepare and file taxes that has a degree? Not looking to speak with one that does there own taxes.

What exactly is your question? I'm not going to do your accounting or tax prep, but I can give you some advice as someone who has to account for 30K+ sales a year and all sorts of other expensing crap. I may be able to point out exactly what you should be doing. There's a transition between using a TAX preparation service, a CPA w/ Tax specialities, CPA firm (with multiple CPA specializations) and then finally using an in house CPA.

I've done them all and there's something to be said about someone pointing you in the right direction first. Someone having a CPA alone is not enough depending on your needs. There is some specialization within the field.

All of the above rambling can be summarized by the clarification of "Tax CPA"


I, personally, would not put my financial information in the hands of a tax "specialist" that enters the information I already have into a electronic form.
