Tucked it away in the garage just before the storm came.

1994 Cobra with 44k miles. Black interior. Super, super clean. Completely stock as far as I can tell, which I will take as a plus because people like to hack things up and spray paint with bedliner and take their car offroad and put stickers all over it.

what makes a cobra a cobra for those years?

my vote on wheels would be some torq-thrust-D knock off, or something similar to the "Bullitt" wheels....

Plans to mod it at all? Gears and be done with it? Try your hand at drag racing again?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but for appearance: hood, front bumper, and rear bumper with cobra embossed in it, and wheels.

Factory GT of that year had 215hp, 240hp variant was in the cobra. Also, different brakes and stiffer suspension I believe.

Regarding the SN-95 hoods, the Cobra hood is exactly the same as the the GT in 94' and 95' with the exception of the 95' Cobra R hood. The 96-98 Cobra's received a dual nostril hood w/ a small bump to clear the massive 4V they stuffed in there.

Also has the 160mph speedo, FR500 steering wheel although I think that was an option, bigger brakes like stated above among other things I cant remember.

Theres also a site to log onto (ill try and find) and get the certificate from SVT along with the full option list.

If memory serves mine is #514 or something like that

KBs are nice, however I can think of a few other combos that would get the car into the low 11's.

However, something tells me that Michelle will set the car up for road racing, so suspension, exhaust, heads and cam would be of more benefit than a blower.

Since you have never ran a blower, I am assuming you are speaking from 2nd hand experience.

I suggested a blower because it was a good deal and would be easier than H/C/I to install, not because its the most efficient power adder. If that were the case, I would have suggested an On3 70mm turbo kit for cheap, efficient horsepower.

If you are looking to get different wheels here's where I got mine from. Sometimes they have clearance sales. I paid $60 apiece for my 17x10.5 Cobra R's shipped.
Their regular prices are not bad. They are knock-offs but great quality.

All sarcasm aside, you are right, that combo that you posted would be an efficient way to make power if it was going to be used on the street or on the drag strip primarily. However, most people who regularly track their car, like Michelle, dont usually add any kind of FI to their track car (unless you are Michelle).

Now back on topic.....is one of the plans for the car a trip to Clocks Off? I know of a few guys running that year Cobra and doing rather well in autocross/track events with nothing more than suspension, gears, cage, exhaust, and a cai!

Since you fail to see what I was saying in the two prior posts, I will put it this way......Unless it came with F.I from the factory, most people dont add it to their track car. IE you wont see a 911 GT3 RS with turbos or a supercharger on the track, however you will see plenty 997 turbos and NA GT3 RS on the track. I sold the supercharger off my 1990 SHO this year. It took complete "reliability" away - only put a few good miles on it on the street and two track events (one GLD and one at Autobahn). It was a learning experience that I don't regret, but I will happily keep that car N/A.

For Autocross and Road Coarse The car makes plenty of HP/TQ to be fun. Adressing the Handling and braking, would be my primary
concerns.
As far as FI for Track or Autocross not many people do it. I ran my Strim Fox in Autocross a few times with the Strim and Mickey Thompson
Drag Radials. It was fun but not all that fast. was faster with the NA 347 and regular tires, running the whole course in 3rd.. :-)
+100 on the MM catalog thrown at it..

One, Your MAN-CAR card has been revoked due to the destruction of the Subaru.

And if you know anything you should understand its not about power in autocross but how you use the car to its fullest potential. Its not a fucking drag race.

I think you need to give it one more try. Its fun to feel the rear end of the car want to get sideways while you are tying to do 90 degree turns at 35mph. Plus its cheaper than a weekend at RA.

Even over the winter my office housed my new wheels.

Good luck, part of Mustang ownership.
That being said, goodbye wallet.
