Due to a failed lifter, my car has been sitting since August of 2012. Its finally back on the road so i decided to wash and wax it myself this past weekend. I still need Yoosef to take care of a few swirl marks for me when his schedule opens up but for now i think i like how it came out.

Special thanks to Dr. Buick and Bad Venom for getting my car back on the road :D.

Not forgetting BadLs1 for the taking the time out of his busy schedule to come out and tune the car. Thanks Tom..

Man I remember how ridiculous (in a good way) those things looked when they first hit the streets...those intakes looked like a race horse's nostrils flaring. It was great and scary looking at the same time.

Always preferred the wild look of those to the milder looks of the camaro. Great rims on there too.

so its back up on the 6.0l? Looking good!

Heres hoping I can turn your old LS1 into something fun.

Interestingly I have always been a Camaro fan (owned a couple) up until the point I decided to purchase this car. As a matter of fact, my girlfriend was against the idea of me purchasing it because she was worried i would ditch it within a couple of months for another Camaro. Surprisingly, it has really grown on both of us. It will take a very special Camaro for me to switch back.

Yes it now has an 05 LQ4 shortblock. We run into a few issues along the way, but each time Dr Buick figured out a way to make things work.

I'm sure you will build yourself a descent spare motor with the block you got from me. Sometimes I wish I had gone back to the LS1 block because of the weight savings but I wanted the extra security of the iron block and the low compression capability of the dished LQ4 pistons. I might just switch to an LS2 block with a forged rotating assembly if this year's profit sharing check is anything like last year.

Everyone told me to give Forest a second chance... Who is "everyone"?

About 5 minutes talking to him I knew he was a fake...

Basically everyone that was associated with West Bend dyno, during that time frame.
