Fish tank question...

When I set up my tank I slathered the back of the tank with Vasaline and applied the background to it. While that worked great for the better part of five years, I took it off today. Anyone got any tips on how to clean the outside of the back of the tank? It's up against a wall, in a corner; getting my arms behind it doesn't really work. Anyone been down this road?

empty the tank, move it out a bit from the wall. Voila!

Tape doesn't work? I've had tape on all mine for 10+ years with no issues.

Tape 000 steel wool to a long stick and scrub the glass.
