The documents that Dan Rather used to prove that Bush had a poor rating in the military turned out to be fake AFTER he pretty much staked his career on it. Then to top it off, he is suspected of talking it over with the democratic party beforehand which as any of us know is unethical for new journalists to push their own agenda regarding politics. You do remember Dan's interesting comments after 9/11 dont you? "Now matter how we all feel about MR. Bush(not president Bush), he is still our president".quote

Notice how when CBS "broke" the story ("made up" seems more fitting) how the DNC less than 12 hours later already had commericials out on they're website touting "evidence" of Bush shirking his duties in the NG, and launching "operation: fortunate son". Hmmm...colusion COULDN"T have been gong on there :confused

I think the DNC and CBS/Marla mapes/lockart/kerry were really hoping the story would get traction...too bad they went with piss poor forgeries and didn't try to pay off the people who knew the truth :rolleyes:
