I ran in to a couple of crazy ass bikes on the freeway headed up there. We also ran into a couple of guys in a couple of regals I think a gsx and gst? Regardless both were supercharged and moved out ok. They were playing cat and mouse right outside of Madison and they were doing probably abkut 85-90 weaving in and out of traffic. They were nuts

It was more the way I got it than the ticket itself. Sunday morning, a group of cars and myself heading out of town, not doing anything stupid, one of us gets pulled over for window tint of all things, the rest of us keep going and pull into a hotel parking lot, we all get out and start chatting about if he's getting a ticket or not, next thing you know he pulls in with the cop right behind him. We were all out of our cars and the cop says "I want everyone's license's", long story short, we all comply, all very polite, we all get tickets with the EXCEPTION of the original car that got pulled over. It's a fucking scam, they pull officers from all the neighboring communities just to make money. If it's for people actually breaking the law, hey, more power to them, but just to harass people attempting to have a good time, complete bullshit. Oh, and unless it's 20 years old, it's not welcome, and I don't have anything that old, yet, lol.

But yeah, I make a trip to Woodward Dream Cruise every year, that's my "Automation", lol.

Great point We all noticed that too. Typically the Mayflower lot is absolutely packed front to back & side to side. The main side by the pool there is minimal parking to begin with but the other side of the building there is a ton of parking. The lot was maybe 50-60% filled all weekend. Maybe it was because of the weather forecast? Kinda weird.

Man did I get fucking sunburned so damn bad on Saturday. We got up it was cloudy and they were calling for rain yada yada yada and by 10 or so the sun was creeping out and we were already deep into the show so I never went back for sunscreen. Bad choice...

There were just too many busted up saturns, civics with shopping carts mounted to the tops of their cars and annoying pickups. Along with the random car with a stereo that clearly costs more than the car itself. Or the random car with 90" wheels with a skyjacker lift kit all tricked out and the owner spared no expense. Except for the fact that the car still had the original drum brake setup. Hmmmmmmm.....

Both from our hotel....That Diamond hotel was a DUMP and filled with ragingly drunk kids. Bottles being thrown and NO WHERE to park. Needless to say we didn't even stay the second night and just made the trip back home.

Automotion hasn't been the same for I'd say 4-5 years now. I just go up there to have a good time with friends and family so it's usually a good time no matter what. The past two years sucked pretty bad for me though.

They were running my blue 300 with the exhaust and tinted windows. They looked kinda surprised when the grocery getter was pulling on them. Regardless they move pretty good and I love the sound of them. With a cai that charger screams.

And both on e85 the other is cammed and on a smaller pulley but both are beasts give ya that shocker face as they pass you!

Yea, I went up Friday had dinner then hit the bars, and walked around.. Went back home after bar close, slept a couple hours then came back up by 11:00. If my friends were not such jags I would have just stayed up there!! Asshats!!! The construction kinda sucked too!! They need to do something to bring that fun back to the dells car show!! It's loosing its luster!!
