Door Stuck Closed

We keep a spare 1992 Toyota Celica as a backup car to park at the airport and ghetto, etc. Today I went to put my bag in and the passenger door doesen’t open. The lock moves as it should. I think the latch is broken or seized. There may have been a recall on the latch, but I’m not finding much.

How do I get the door panel off with the door closed? I’m guessing the door panel needs to be cut and replaced? If that’s the case this car may be scrapped. Any other tricks to break into the passenger door?

You may be able to drill a hole and shoot some penetrating oil in there?

role down the window and use a slim jim to pope it,some knob prolly tried to steal it and kocked the lock or latch rods off and there are no recalls for a door latch on that
