So many variables. I can tell you that Old Dominion freight is really good at shipping motors and does this all the time. Contact the terminal on Layton ave near the airport for details and pricing. 414-489-2084

I used freightquote.com to line up with Old Dominion the shipping of a transmission and some associated parts to Missouri. It cost me $150ish, with insurance. This cost was with me palleting it and taking it to their terminal on 109th and Layton Ave, and them shipping to a business that had a forklift. My customer was happy with them and their timeliness. I was unhappy with Old Dominion; they don't have the ability to properly unload something from a pickup truck. They did have some chains, a forklift and some morons. Almost lost the transmission off the pallet. The silver lining is I learned you can hang a Borg Warner T3656 from three zip ties and have no worries.

LOL I have shipped a bunch of cylinder heads and other large bulky items through the Old Dominion Milwaukee terminal and never had an issue. Guess it helps that my wife works there :)

When I worked with the tool and die shop Old Dom was one of the ones we used frequently. There was another one that we used for price matching against them too, but I don't remember who, possibly Kaiser
