scratched windshield with my ring... How to fix?

I scratched the windshield pretty bad on my 2011 Ram. It's not deep enough to feel with a finger nail, so I think it can be fixed. Should I attempt to fix it myself or is there a good local place? Its right where I look out the windsheild on the drivers side.

There are several glas scratch removing kits available for light scratches that you may be able to get done by hand. If that doesnt work most can be removed with da polisher/pads/glass compounds. Try this....http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-ceriglass-kit.html if it doesnt work, then it needs to be machine polished.

Cerium oxide. One tub will last you a lifetime. I think I bought a 1lb tub for about $70 a long time ago from a mom and pop glass shop. Wool bonnet with a D/A sander.
