2006 Acura TL Transmission noise?

My kid purchased a Acura Tl Automatic trans a month ago and it's started making noise when decelerating from freeway speed. The noise is like going over rumble strips. It's more pronounced when applying the brake than when you let it coast down to a slower speed before braking. The brakes checked out fine with less than .001 rotor run out. Did Acura/Honda have a tranny problem?

yup, they had trans issues on the TL, TL-s. I dont remember what it was that was junk in there but for some it was a pita to get the dealer to fix it.

Nice! Taking it in Wednesday to get checked out. We'll see how that goes.
The possible salvation is the dealer gave a limited extended warranty for 3 mo./3000 miles. We're under on both so we'll see what the details are.
