Is anyone else currently having internet issues or any issues with any Time Warner services in the general Milwaukee area? My interwebs are down and I can't even get through when calling to talk to a csr.

Big issues on southwest side of Milwaukee. I'm on now finally. But has been intermittent for at least an hour. It's working now, question is for how long.

We have had uverse for almost a year. No issues or major outages once we got a good set of equipment. A lot of the stuff they install is all refub.

Same here... It was working really sporadic . In Time Warner's defense though I have to say this is the first time mine has been out in forever. I am sure I have had outages before but its literally been so long I cannot remeber probably five years or something.

Well after talking to several friends and seeing what you guys posted it was a general problem. I had tried to reset all my junk too several times. I then called and got the automated lady telling me to disconnect my router etc... I then called back and could not for the life of me get through to a live person.

Honestly this was the first time in over 7 years or at least that I can remember that I had a interruption with my interwebs service with Time Warner. I still have the same modem that I got when we signed up with time Warner. It is a old ass Motorola surfboard. I was thinking that she finally bit the dust but not yet. My modem is a dinosaur. They should give me a new one.

You should get a new one since they are probably charging you to lease it anyway.

Yes sir they are. By any chance would you or anyone else on here for that matter if I were to call and request a replacement seeing as this surfboard is old as hell that they may actually send us out a new one? Is there any chance that this old modem could actually be hindering the performance of out interwebs service? It seems that it's not as fast as it once was or maybe it's just me.

just go in to the southridge store and they will swap it out for free. Im sure you are losing performance with that dinosaur.

Actually the sb5100 are very solid modems and work very well but yes u can take to store and swap it. It's not a d3 modem so it can't do 30d/5up but can handle turbo speeds just fine.
